Sparkles Foundation was born out of the sheer compassion of its founder Mrs. Kathy Kassardjian who since 1997 has been at the forefront of leading many philanthropic missions across several organizations globally. Kathy dreamt big about specifically helping children across the world in every environment to ensure they survive and thrive.

Therefore in 2022 Sparkles Foundation was officially established and kicked off its formal inaugural event on September 17, 2022 in San Diego, CA. More than 200 attendees supported this global mission netting over $125,000 in proceeds. The success of this event was far beyond the funds raised. Given that the proceeds were benefitting children and youth, Kathy made sure to involve community children through a fascinating fashion show. Ultimately, Kathy’s goal is to make sure every human including children understand the importance of positively impacting the lives of those most in need.

Message from the President and CEO

Dear Friends,

Recently I visited unprivileged orphaned children in Armenia, the Arev children with down syndrome and other disabilities center. These children need food and our support.

Working together has become ever more meaningful. This is especially true now as high prices and economic uncertainty hold very real consequences for our most at-risk children and families.

However, during challenging times, your generous and heartfelt response—as supporters of our extended family of donors, partners, volunteers, has taught us time and time again that we can and will persist in providing food, resources, and hope on an expanding scale for these children and families who need help. In the fiscal year 2022, I am both proud and humbled to report that, with your help we raised $125,000 to benefit more than a couple of thousands of children in Armenia, Ukraine, and Lebanon and helped to stop Human trafficking in San Diego, California. I want to assure you that 100% of the revenue that we received went to help the children and families.

As we continue our work, I cannot express my appreciation for everything you’ve made possible. Regardless of what the future holds, we clearly understand that we can only pursue our vision of a world without childhood hunger because of you. When you give God will bless you and reward you multifold.
